For over two decades, Ryan Cleek has worked as a photographer, filmmaker, and writer in the cycling, action sports, and outdoor lifestyle industries. Prior to founding his production company, he was a creative content producer for some of the world’s largest bicycle and outdoor industry brands. Over the first decade of his career, he cut his teeth as a staff writer, photographer, and video producer for international mountain bike and action sports media outlets. When it comes to long-form projects, Ryan has written, produced, and directed award-winning, feature-length action sports documentary films.
Specializing in outdoor lifestyle media production, his Reno-based production company, Ryan Cleek Studios, produces commercial film and photography projects for outdoor industry clients worldwide.

One of our favorite MTB storytellers tells his story.
Ryan Cleek has been one of mountain biking's storytellers for over 20 years. He's played many roles in the industry as a photographer, writer, videographer and product tester for media outlets and bike brands. Along the way, he has made two feature-length films about mountain bikers and their journey in our sport.
